While not featured in a video, this is a small triphammer I made while working on testing a larger triphammer design in the below linked video, the Ancient Origins of Mechanical Memory. Palm-sized but extremely heavy and sturdy this little machine is a great desktop reminder of one of the first ways in which early machines harnessed the power of water. Triphammers beat grain into flour, metal into swords and puffed air into blacksmith bellows.
