The original working model built and used in the IntoTheMap investigation of the Khendjer Pyramid’s unusual portcullis locking mechanism. This model incorporates the bent groove rails of the Lost Pyramid of Dashur rediscovered in 2017. Comes with all accessories, exotic wood portcullis block, two types of brass rails, locking plug and cutaway portcullis. The portcullis block really does lock into place and makes a great desktop puzzle for people not familiar with how it locks. Great conversation starter on topics of ancient engineering, history and egyptology. Upon purchase, a brass museum style plaque will be included over the handwritten name reading:
