Made from various scraps of wood and brass pins, this is a functional full-sized model of an ancient Egyptian lock design. Front of the lock is left open behind acrylic pane to display the mechanism. While the lock is currently mounted as a display, it could be moved if the buyer wishes to another door, such as an interior shop or study that requires a lower level of security, where the lock could be actually used. This is not fine carpentry, but it is rugged and functional.
